Milt Sernick

Hometown: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Received formal training at the renowned Interlochen Music Academy. His musical career has included all varieties of big band work, musical reviews, variety shows, and pit orchestras.

While doing a tour of duty in Germany with the US Army, he played with a country western group and later became the principal Lowell Showboat orchestra drummer during its heyday backing such stars as Louis Armstrong, Pearl Bailey and Dinah Shore.

He’s been with the NRB 10 years.
