Jimhas been the busiest jazz clarinetist of the past 35 years. He traveled extensively with trumpeter Al Hirt, and New Orleans’ Dukes of Dixieland; spent years on the road with various acts throughout the USA and Canada; was in the house band at Rosie O’Grady’s in Orlando, and the New Orleans Hilton’s jazz trio. A performer-in-residence at the 1982 Knoxville and 1990 Osaka World Fairs, Jim is currently in his 20th year as a staff musician for the Walt Disney Company. He’s a Yamaha Performing Artist, appears throughout the USA as a clinician, and is the clarinet columnist for Halftime Magazine.
