Dick Maley

Dick was born in Washington DC. He attended Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester, Virginia. He moved to New Orleans in 1978 at the age of 22, where he performed in many night clubs on Bourbon Street with the New Dixie Zing Kings Dixiland show band. In 1980 he moved to Florida where he started honing his jazz skills with many great jazz artists including Al Hirt and Pete Fountain. “Spanky” presently resides just outside Orlando where he performs at Disnyworld as well as playing at many jazz festivals across the country.
