
A fan recently emailed this vintage image to us. It seemed appropriate to share it since the NRB has now been hanging around for 48 years as of February 10, 2018. This photo was taken in the mid-70s in Saginaw, Michigan, USA. A bunch of musicians having a grand time and fixin’ to conquer the world, or at least the county fair at which we were appearing.
By the way, we all glanced in the mirror just now.
And we all look exactly the same as in this vintage photo.
Exactly. Seriously. Really. Yes, we do. Still. Yup.

We continually try to do one of those moody shots where the Cast of Characters is scowling, but we can’t pull it off. When you’re playing what is considered ‘The Happiest Music on Earth’, it’s hard not to at least smirk.
