Instrument(s): Trombone Keith is considered one of the country's leading Dixieland trombonists playing in the lyrical style of the late Jack Teagarden. He has appeared with numerous Midwestern jazz bands. He recently retired after a long distinguished career as a member of the Flint Police Department where, for many years, he played the role of Officer Friendly visiting grade schools holding safety seminars for thousand of children. He is a 23-year veteran with the NRB, having joined back in 1979. |
