Among the most rewarding gigs we have is appearing at private events.
One of these is today September 30 for the Red Hat Society. It’s in Frankenmuth, MI USA, but we’re pledged to secrecy on more details.
Members enjoying calling themselves “Red Hat Ladies.” When they gather, the purpose is fun. Its mission statement states it succinctly, “The Red Hat Society is a playgroup for women created to connect like-minded women, make new friends and enrich lives through the power of fun and friendship!
We’re honored they invited us to this event. We’ll add as much fun as we can.
Speaking of which, we do these private events often. For corporations. As fundraisers. Birthday celebrations. Even funerals. Funerals? Dixieland music is deeply intertwined with New Orleans tradition, which calls for celebrating someone’s life by playing “The Happiest Music on the Planet.”
We enjoy the interaction.
